He knew for a vampire it was practically suicide to be caught hanging out around the church, as it was the homeland of all the hunters, and the Helsing clan, or whatever the hell it was called. But Lestat, being the arrogant and rebellious being he was, cared nothing for this, and was teasing the occupants of the church, standing outside the front, leaning against a wall of the church. His blond hair was tied back out of his way into a ponytail, still glossy and as full of life as the rest of him.
He was wearing a dark grey suit jacket, lighter grey short sleeved shirt, pale blue jeans and shiny black boots. With his arms confidently crossed in front of his chest, he let his gaze fall to the front doors of the church, curious mostly because he could feel that he was being watched, though by whom he didn't know. Looking behind him at the waist high wall, though he was fairly tall himself, he climbed up on it and sat down, in the same way he had seen countless teenagers do in front of the fish and chip shops, daring someone to come out.

Iris had gone in through the back door of the church, she diidnt like using the front door it didnt go well with her image, she didint even believe in god so why would she go to church, she believe in science which was a tad contradictive since she fought vampires. she had come for holy water mianly and to get her knew cross bow blessed, that way a vampire coudlnt take it and use it against her which shed heard some of them liked to do, in thier twisted irony. but holy water was the main thing, she dipped her arrows in it rubbed it on her body dipped her daggers in it, if planning a raid on a vampire nesting place as they called it, she would fill water balloons with holy water and use them as bombs, she even drank as much as she coudl spare to make her blood less bareable to drink should a vampire ever get hold of her and get close enough to try it might stall them for long enough to get away, obviously not strong enough diluted in her blood to do anything but cause a little pain.
When she had arrived a priest grabbed her knowing who she was since she had been there everynight now taking holy water from them, so much so that they had prepared as much as possible for her knowing what her work was. he said he was scared one of the undead was watching the church and that he would attack anyone who ventured outside.
Iris walked to the front looking through a stained glass window to see lestat sat on the wall, well she coudlnt tell from this difference of course if he really was a vampire but she guessed maybe the priest had seen him before. she shouldered her cross bow latching an arrow in place she kicked open the door making a pretty loud bang and walked out, her blue hair tied back glasses on her nose. she wore a tight pair of blue jeans and a bluen tshirt that looked like it had been slashed across the front showing off her own pale skin.
"you come to worship the good lord and repent your sins?"

Despite being very obviously a vampire, to the trained eye of a hunter, and therefore being a menace to society probably, he did look almost harmless. Leaning further back on the wall, completely relaxed and at ease, he watched as Iris appeared, walking from behind the church. Though his soft gaze didn’t move from her eyes, he knew that she was a hunter just from what she was carrying, a person with no knowledge of vampires would not have bothered to carry what she did.
Lestat crossed one lef easily over the other, leaning forward slightly, resting his elbows against his thigh’s as he looked at her, thinking about how beautiful she was, especially for a human. Her bright blue hair was frankly extraordinary, he had never seen another human with hair like that, and as far as he knew, it wasn’t a natural colour. Sitting there calmly, it almost gave one the impression that he didn’t know she was a threat to him, because he certainly wasn’t acting threateningly, and he didn’t seem frightened either.
“No, I’m not a Christian.”
He answered her ever so softly, his tone as innocent as that of a childs as he replied, his expression unchanging as he spoke. If he had wanted to, purely out of arrogance if nothing else, he would have walked straight into the church and played with the people inside, without killing them of course, hunters loved to have their revenge killing sprees. Having sat there with a completely serious and straight face for a while, he let himself be seen to smile a little, only charmingly.

She spoke strong confidently blwing a strand of blue hair from her eyes looking at him steadily holding the cross bow wondering what his move if any would be, he could be on her in a second even less the blink of an eye she had to be prepared.
"your presence is making a few people feel uncomfortable so i ask you to leave"
she didint really fancy killing him on church ground it wasnt nice, being it was holy and all that, or atleast the priests believed it was. then again it would be better to just kill him and be done with it. she felt the wind blowing tugging on her hair moving blue around her face as she watched him unmoving.

Lestat spoke in a perfectly reasonable tone, as ever the gentleman, until he lost his rag with people, though that was rare. The way he was acting would have led the more foolish and naïve mortal to believe that he was in fact pretending to be a human himself, when he wasn’t. He knew that this woman, as gorgeous with her bright blue hair as she was, she was a severe threat to his continuing existence, and he didn’t let on for a moment that he couldn’t be a cold blooded killer at times.
“Oh? Well cherie, I did not wish to frighten anyone, please tell them that I was admiring their church. May I ask if you live here? Or just work…”
He slipped off of the edge of the wall casually, for a moment looking confrontational as he landed easily on his feet, hands slipped into his jacket pockets. But the look passed rather quickly, as Lestat had no interest in hurting her or killing any of the people inside the church. Thing was, he knew they would be frightened of him, and he was quite amused that they had just sent a hunter out here, rather than properly peer out the front door, crosses in hand. Years ago, they would have just burst through the massive doors, torches and crosses to hand, and chased him, even on horses, but now, they just hid. How boring.

"i dont know, i find them a little garish sometimes all the stautes and stained glass, if god is so good and wants nothing but good for you why do you need a fully decked out building to come pay your respects or whatever it is they do? a little bit of a complex to need that much reassurance."
Iris had her own opnions about religeon and the creation of the earth. she watched him jump down from the wall and shifted slightly moving the bow with him never letting her gaze wander though her own voice stayed calm and her heart rate hadnt raised at all. she was expeirienced with vampires now, and hardly any survived a meeting with her.
"its more of a hobby than a real job to be honest, i work on computers"
She carried on the calm conversation not wanting to break stride, she didint like to attack first. she prefered to counter.
