Roxy watched Danni with absolutely hatred. Her brain couldn't even begin to handle the anger and frustration that was coursing through her. How could he do this to her own brother? There was no doubt that Danni did it on purpose. Roxy had talked about her brother before, and of course, Spike introduced himself to Danni. This was so beyond what she did to him. Still, what she did was wrong, but she was drunk and made a slip of judgment. He did this to her on purpose. He killed her brother. She hated him, SO MUCH.

Spike could tell that Roxy was extremely tense. Nut just from feeling her muscles underneath him, but because he could sense it. the new sensations that were given to him as of becoming a vampire were incredible. He could hear everything a million times sharper, he could smell EVERYTHING, he could see the smallest detail in the carpet, and Spike felt as though existing was so much easier. It was like his joints and muscles had been slicked with oil. He watched Danni as he left, waiting a few moments before letting Roxy go. He frowned slightly. Spike couldn't stand seeing his sister like this, but he couldn't do anything about it. What was life is you were happy all the time?

Roxy didn't care that Danni had even bothered to give her and Spike a pathetic little wave. What really bothered her was the kiss he blew to Giovanni, no matter how sarcastic it was. As soon as he left, Roxy growled, quietly, but it was fierce. Roxy paused for a moment as Spike let her go, and then took a few steps forward, pulling the rubber band out of her curly hair and running her fingers through it, slipping the band onto her wrist. As what had become a quick habit while she stayed at Giovanni's, Roxy began to pace slowly, back and forth in a line. "What happened?" She repeated quietly, looking at Giovanni as she absentmindedly moved, "What happened? Danni, the fucking brilliant idiot he is, decided to get revenge on me by leading my brother on and then almost fucking killing him! If I hadn't come here when I did to get clothes, Spike would be dead. There is no way this was a coincidence. Danni must've met him somewhere."

At this point, Spike spoke. He genuinely felt bad about the situation, even though it wasn't his fault. "I got off the bus around three. I figured that Roxy would be asleep, so I went to a bar. And I had been sitting there, and all of a sudden, Danni was at the bar. I had no bloody clue who he was. So I walked up to the bar and we started talking, and I told him my name, and then he seemed more interested in me. He must've known I was her brother. and then we came back here, and he made it pretty clear that he was "interested" in me, and then the next thing I know, his fangs are in my neck and I passed out. If Roxy didn't come in here and save me, I'd surely be dead." Spike told Giovanni the story, occasionally glancing at Roxy. He crossed his arms across his chest, leaning back against the wall behind him, thinking.

Roxy sighed, putting her hand on the side of her neck as she thought. "I can't deal with this," she said gently, pacing a few more steps before stopping, facing Giovanni. She looked up at him, her eyes full of frustration and sadness. She still felt very close with Giovanni, especially since he was there for her when Danni wasn't. "I don't know what to do. I mean, I know Danni's insane, but this...I don't even know." She frowned slightly, looking truly sad as she looked up at him.
