Giovanni had dragged him to this insanely busy place to watch a pathetic movie on romantics, normally he would have been very keen to do that, but tonight he was in a rotten mood. This was just one of the extremes of his many different moods that he could display if they swung that way. Well, that and the fact that three guys in a row had tried to jump him tonight, and though they obviously wouldn't win, being humans and all, it still annoyed him like hell. He distantly felt his makers hand on his shoulder, as if that would keep a hold of him in the crowd.

Some idiot of a human went towards him, a poorly built young man who was probably drunk, who groped for Danni in an attempt to start a fight. "Touch me and I'll fucking rip your head off." He told the man bluntly, not a hint of amusement in his body language or tone. The problem was, that if the guy kept bugging him, Danni would snap, and act out his threat. Giovanni, the man that had turned him into a vampire all those years ago, now had his arm around Danni's shoulders, and was keeping him closer.

Danni's maker had long and soft brown hair, always tied into ponytail, never allowed to be seen down, though it definitely looked more beautiful down. He was wearing a black velvet opera coat, under which the rest of his clothes couldn't be seen. Danni himself had his cute short blond hair, bright and deeply coloured, a colour that could only be achieved through a hundred years of night light alone. It was just slicked back, which was an odd look for Danni, but then again, odd explained him perfectly. He was wearing a black suit jacket, going down to his hips, a black long sleeved shirt, loose bright pink tie, black jeans and boots. This was what you saw when he didn't take that much care over his appearance, no make up.

Maze sighed as he stood in line for a ticket at the theaters digging into his pocket to find his wallet in the back of his black jeans. Black shoes, and a white T-shirt with some black swirling of interest and a name brand plastered across his chest, a form fitted open black jacket was the rest of his current attire that shielded him from the cold. It was nice to get off that computer of his and not have to write his own works but to be able to relax and enjoy the works of someone else. He rubbed one of his wrists just thinking about the hours he spends typing away or just sitting and staring at the white screen with black letters scribbled all over it spelling out an unfinished story.

His ears were hardly listening to the person on the other side of the glass wall talking his money and giving him a slip of paper in exchange. Why did they need those glass walls anyway? If felt more like a stuffy bank then a place of entertainment.

He even had to admit it was nice to get out of the horror flicks for once and watch something a bit more calm and well sweet, with these odd thoughts and revelations he had chosen the movie of the night. The daydreamer waited once again in the second line for the person at the end in the red vest just to rip off half of the slip he had paid for and point him in the correct direction in the rather large building.

A place like this seemed perfect, it was enjoyable there were people who didn’t talk to you and once the movie started hopefully wouldn’t talk at all. The people here, like every city tended to be more rude then polite, yet as a human being himself he enjoyed their company although he enjoyed it silent. For the moment inside the building he would have to put up with the idiocy till inside the correct showing room.

The slicked back hair almost gave him the impression of a new yorker gang member or something, though with the casual seductive cheekiness of the rest of his clothes, utterly confusing. As they got up to where the tickets were dished out, he was tempted to mesmerize the guy behind the counter, and would have, if it hadn’t been for the fact that his maker quietly told him not to, and paid for their tickets like everyone else. Making a small noise that indicated he was sulking, he followed Giovanni into the particular room their film was in.

Zoning out, as if falling into a shallow trance, he let himself be pulled along to a row of seats sort of in the middle of all of the rows, and seated next to his maker. Slipping out of his trance again, a full fifteen mnutes later when the film started, he glanced over across the aisle, aware faintly that someone was watching him, and noticed a young woman staring at him like he had just walked out of a space ship without a head. Of course Danni dealt with this in a very sensible manner, sticking his tongue out and crossing his eyes, flashing an insane look her way. When she looked away, possibly out of surprise and fright, he grinned and looked back to his partner for the night, Giovanni, and snuggled up to him.

He and Giovanni had a very odd and interesting relationship, every couple of decades they would sort of be like loyal lovers, then sometimes they would be like brothers, or very close friends, which was how they were right now. Just by looking at them, Danni cuddling up to his maker, you would have thought they were a gay couple, which was completely wrong, but still, appearances were deceiving. That last thing you would have thought was that they were vampires that killed people to survive.

Maze had no interest for the previews, rather his attention fell on the smell of popcorn from the person sitting in front of him. It wasn’t that he was hungry, quite the opposite, he could handle the greasy foods but the butter popcorn was just disgusting… and the person in front of him had added extra. Stuffing his face and licking every finger after a few handfuls. Maze cringed but reminded himself he had no right to let such thoughts of disgust enter his mind. It was him who after all couldn’t go a week without indulging himself in a greasy slice of pizza.

The start of the movie brought him back into existence and with a sigh settled into his seat finally able to ignore the person in front of them, and their now half empty bag of popcorn. The start of movies always seemed to be the worst, nothing shocked you into watching the movie anymore. I was always something like an opening song on a radio, a dog barking, or a average person getting ready for an average day at work. Maze yawned quietly showing his enthusiasm as he covered his mouth politely. Yet, one had to say awake for the beginning of movies… or the rest of the movie you wouldn’t know who was who and what in hell was going on.

Sure he was paying attention… well zoning in and out. He looked from the screen to his surroundings in the corner of his eye looking at the silhouette of other people in their seats. As an author your mind wanders, you study the human behavior around you, much like a artist studies the shapes before he paints them. No one seemed to come to the movies alone. How could a dark room with a movie playing, in which you had to be silent or at lest quiet be social? Err… don’t answer that… his mind warned him as his eyes glanced at the cuddling couple before looking back up at the screen.
